The Grand Suite worked very well for our 4 night stay. The room was exactly as advertised – very spacious and nicely furnished. Location is outstanding – right where you want to be if your a Bangkok newbie. If shopping is on the agenda, another good reason to consider this hotel. All the top 5 star hotels and several fine dinning restaurants are within an easy 5-10 minute walk.

I especially enjoyed our room service Saturday evening. We had a busy day and were just too tired to head back out – we just wanted to chill. Ordered up some Thai from the kitchen – it was promptly delivered and arranged on our table. Excellent food, a bottle of wine – a peaceful way to finish off the evening.

Kudos to the staff here who were most friendly and helpful. Also, our terrific housekeeper who was quite pleasant – the room was always immaculate on our return. I opted for the breakfast with our booking – I would rate it as good and feel most travelers will find it adequate. As a regular coffee drinker, I felt the coffee offered each morning had an unusual taste – it was intensely strong and bitter tasting. Oh well, plenty of excellent juices available as a substitute.

I enjoyed the Grand Center Point and we would certainly consider staying here again. Lots of value for your money at this excellent property.

Room Tip: High floors for view. Kindly ask for a view of the golf course / park area – very nice.

Though a popular festival, Loy Krathong is not marked as a public Holiday in Thailand.
