“Clean and Pleasant – typical of Centre Point Properties”
Reviewed September 2, 2013
I have stayed at several Centre Point properties and they always seem to be nice. I stayed here in the Grand Suite for two nights which was nice however not much time spent in the room. The pool was refreshing however not deep at all- which for some may be good however some like a deep pool to swim in- like myself.
The staff were welcoming and pleasant.
Everything in the room was provided – kitchen and full size fridge, iron, ironing board, lounge and chairs, dining table and chairs, Flat screen TV, polished wooden floors, double entry bathroom, balcony and comfortable large double bed.
Some small signs of wear of some of the cupboards and bottom of doors is noticeable however this is evident in most hotels I have found, even the five star hotels.
Bell Staff and Pool staff accommodating and friendly.
I booked a promotion rate via the website directly which included late checkout (with availability)- if you do the same, just let the staff know when you check in and also a few hours before you check out to reconfirm this. Initially when I checked the second time they mentioned the latest I could check out was 1pm however on closer inspection of my booking they realised it was the promotion and there was no problem and the gentleman at the desk as well as all other staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Everything about the hotel was pleasant and as usual I enjoyed my stay and I will of course return to centre point properties.
The hotel is 5 minutes walk (even less at times) from the BTS station. The hotel is also 5 minutes walk from the tourist ferry which you can take all the way up the river and back in an hour and see so much of waterfront Bangkok.
Great hotel and so sparkling clean- they really look after the properties at centre point.
Room Tip: Balcony rooms are nice because you can stand outside with a fresh ( and humid warm) view of the city…
